Finding passion in earning a living

Lindsay made her first stained glass piece 14 years ago and was instantly hooked. 8 years ago, she decided she'd like to turn her passion into a job, and her very first piece sold in 15 minutes! Since then, she has her artwork in local shops like the Kona Treehouse in Holualoa @konatreehouse and her instagram sales @allthingsartsea always sell out in minutes!

Photographing Lindsay for this feature, I realized there is a lot more to making stained glass than I initially envisioned. From hand drawing her very own patterns (something that is rare nowadays in her industry) to selecting and crafting each piece of glass into a work of art! I was amazed by the final outcome.

I found Lindsay an inspiration to raise my own keiki wahine to not only follow their passions but to try to make a living doing it! That it is possible to love your job!
